Subsidy for circular raw materials out of asbestos cement
SUPPORTThanks to the EFRO regional subsidy program Opportunities for West in the Netherlands, the Asbeter team is preparing and executing the engineering of the first factory with a groundbreaking AC Minerals technology for dissolving asbestos, regaining safe and circular raw materials.
It will be the first factory in the world to bring several environmental problems together in one solution: no longer dumping concrete waste and asbestos cement roofing sheets, but return clean raw materials CO2-neutrally to several indsutries, like the construction sector, paint and catalyst industries, which has the task of drastically reducing its CO2 emissions. From the start of the operation in 2025, the factory will scale up to supply 75.000 -15.000 tons per year of CO2 neutral raw materials, like calcium silicate hydrate and carbonate.
