Milestone: Succesfull Process Verification for Zero Asbestos Fiber Residue
DEFINITIVE SOLUTIONWe are happy for everyone who is working hard to finally get rid of asbestos from the living environment. And we are proud of our AC Minerals team from Asbetter who will make this possible. In April 2023, the verification by DNV of our process for the final SOLUTION of the asbestos fiber was successfully completed.
With this we introduce a new standard: a clean end product with ZERO asbestos fibres. Why so much stricter than 100 mg/kg dry matter or 10 mg/kg dry matter? The answer is simple: because Asbeter's AC Minerals process makes it possible to produce a clean calcium silicate slurry from asbestos cement for the cement, concrete and paint industries. And they are circular end products without a CO2 tax: that is also our contribution to the climate objectives.
