In 2025, the operation of Asbeter's AC Minerals Plant will start, which will supply 75,000-115,000 tons of calcium silicate hydrate and carbonate per year. Offtakers are the construction industry for (geopolymer) cement and concrete, the paints industry and the industry for chemical catalyst carriers.
It will be the first factory in the world to bring several environmental problems together in one solution: no longer dumping of asbestos cement roofing sheets and tubes, but return clean raw materials CO2-neutrally to industrial sectors, which has the task of drastically reducing its CO2 emissions.
