We are happy for everyone who is working hard to finally get rid of asbestos from the living environment. And we are proud of our AC Minerals team from Asbetter who will make this possible. In April 2023, the verification by DNV of our process for the denaturation of the asbestos fiber was successfully completed.
With this we introduce a new standard: a clean end product with reactive calcium silicates. Asbeter's AC Minerals process makes it possible to produce a clean calcium silicate from asbestos cement for the cement, concrete and paint industries. And they are circular end products without a CO2 tax: that is also our contribution to the climate objectives.
