2026-2027: Dutch landfilling asbestos cement no longer needed

Millions of tons of asbestos cement are still in our living environment, untill they are dumped in landfill. They continue to pose a risk to public health and the environment. Most of these are roof plates and tubes, that consist of 90% cement. A material that should not be wasted because of its high CO₂ footprint and the increasing shortage of raw materials. With their AC Minerals technology at industrial scale, landfilling of asbestos cement is no longer needed.
